fweever@livejournal.com BioI was breastfed as a child. This means it's quite possible that my first contact with cow's milk was in the form of ice-cream. As a wee one, I chose vanilla. Usually the choices were vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I don't know when I first tasted mint-chip, but I'm sure it was an epiphany. That has always been my favorite flavor. In my pre-teen years, I flirted with cookies-n-cream for awhile, going back and forth between the two flavors. Mint-chip was ever faithful however and always tasted sweet. Then one day in Brooklyn my father took me to a place that made their own ice-cream. Peter's I think it was. They had mint-chocolate and cookies-n-cream put together! Euphoria! Not until Ben+Jerry's created this flavor commercially was I able to get enough of it. Though I still like mint-chip best, putting cookies-n-cream with it definately is one of my favorite pastimes in life.
